Obituary of Joan W Tedrow

Joan Tedrow passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday July 26, 2014. She grew up in Long Beach, CA and graduated from Wilson High School. Joan has been in the Santa Cruz area since 1970. She had a great love for her dogs and cats especially Bucky! Joan is survived by her husband of 30 years Richard Tedrow; three children, Ann Mitchell, Mary Yokeum and Paula Philipp; two grandchildren; Collin Mitchell and Hillary Yokeum. She is also survived by her sister, Billie Jean Spillie who lives in France. Joan was preceded in death by her sister, Jerry Abbott. Joan's family would like to thank Dr. Chandra for his many years caring for Joan, the staff of doctors at Dominican Hospital and the many kind and capable folks at Hospice of Santa Cruz, especially Candice. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
