Lillian "Leelie" was my soul sister. My very first best friend as she and Franco were my first cousins. We never lived away from each other growing up. Our parents were very close. So we played together vacationed together and were inseparable. The twins were my best friends. It was great because I was an only child. So my life and Lils were intertwined as girls. But Franco was the main guy in all our playtime. He was the daddybthe business man the wagon puller the soldier the movie star interviewer. We had lots if fun growing up together. As teens and through adulthood always near. I moved away to new York for 10 years and opened a hair salon. As time and circumstances had it I came back to California so my mom could see and enjoy her new grandchild. I was thrilled as Lol and I ended up pregnant I with my 3rd she with her 3rd. It was so great. She gave her life to Christ 10 years before me. I was stubborn. Wanted to stay a Catholic. When I found the truth for me she was so happy. Then we became soul sisters. As we stayed til the end. We prayed together talked for hours on the phone about the Lord. It was so wonderful. She will always have a very special.place in my heart only for her until we see each other again. I miss her so very much. None like her ever. So kind loving compassionate fire passionate about what she believed. She lived those Manatees which teased her about. She said yeah but their cute in their ugliness..that was her. She loved music so much and art. Especially her son Dan's art. Sho was always positive allowing her children to flourish in their own right. A testimony to real truth I loved and still love her always will. May she be at peace joy and harmony. Til we meet again Leelie.
