Vern was a childhood friend and a large part of my life growing up. He was older than me, I looked up to him he always treated me as a peer and was kind and giving. I have many fond memories with Vern, skateboarding, BMX bikes, fishing, swimming, basket ball, and many fun adventures in the woods of Boulder Creek. I am blessed to have known Vern and he will never be forgotten. I am sorry for his loss and send my sincere condolences to his all of his family.
