Nancy,
I always enjoyed talking to Mike about my appliances and he was always so thoughtful and would take time to explain things to me. My mother Lillian really liked him so much as he enjoyed helping to keep her 1954 model dryer and refrigerator running for so many good years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age. May he rest in peace and you be comforted with good memories of him. Ken Carlson

Just got back into town and was sorrowed to learn of Mike's passing. It was always nice to stop by the shop to chat with him and know I could totally count on Mike to keep my appliances in working order.

Nancy & Family:
Mike was the best of our vendors: always calm, sunny, professional and a genius at repair. He had my account from the time we were all in our 20s! It was always fun to chat for a bit with him and you-plus he made me look good to both our clients and tenants and I will always be grateful.
Just so you know you are in my thoughts at this time.

Was shocked to see Mikes passing. I have kown Mike from the 70s . He was a great repairman and took great pride in his work. He wasn't stoped by a machine that was obsolete. He could make it work. Mike was good with people because he liked them. When we would run into each other we would go back in time and have a few laughs.
Last I taked with Mike I was teasing him about retiring as it seem like forever that he had been doing his repair busness. Well nobody in town will match his deacaton and expearence. So long pal and keep the gates oiled.
To your family I share your loss.

I first met Mike and Nancy playing Tripoli on Friday nights for pennies! This was back in the mid seventies. They always welcomed everyone and much laughter was shared. I will always remember Mike as one of those great guys comfortable enough to make everyone else feel special, welcome and at ease. Gosh what a great smile. Sending my love to Nancy you two made a great team! I am so saddened yet grateful to have known him.

What a loss, especially for Mike's family, but also for others who have known him. He was always at the ready to help keep our old stove, fridge, dishwasher and whatever together, searching for parts everywhere. We thought of him as a friend. We have missed Mike and Nancy and tried to locate them. Their business had just closed, and we weren't able to find them. Last we knew, he hadn't had a recurrence of cancer and was doing OK, so we hoped he was busy with grandchildren and fishing.
No matter what was happening, Mike always had time and cared about people. We are sad he is gone. What a great guy!
Our sympathy goes out to you.

Not only was Mike a neighbor and a great repairman, he was a kind and generous man. We have so many memories of softball at Harvey West with Mike, Nancy, and the girls, and will always remember the year our team won the trophy--Ace Appliance was our sponsor. Afterwards we all celebrated at Polar Bear. Mike was one helluva nice guy. We will miss his smile, great stories, and presence in the neighborhood. Rest in Peace, Mike. We will miss you.

Mike was a friend of my sisters and brother in law. (Karen and Russel) He was at Every party of theirs and I rember him like a family member. He came over and fixed our washing machine about three times in Twenty years(yeah it actually lasted that long- before the disposable appliances) he never charged us what he should of .
He was one of the nicest guys I ever
knew, always with a smile on his face, it was always good to see him.
I'm sorry for the suffering he endured during the last bit of his life, and hope he is now free of pain and in a happy place.
