Please share a memory of Marion to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Daisy was born in Oakland to Frank Shula and Zelma Wethern. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, grew up in Live Oak, and attended Live Oak School and Santa Cruz High School, where she met the love of her life, Bruce. They were married soon after high school. Daisy worked as a bank adding machine operator during WWII while Bruce was serving overseas in the Army. They started their family soon after the war ended, raised 6 kids, and were faithfully and lovingly married for 55 years until Bruce passed away. Daisy was a devout Christian and active member of Twin Lakes Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching the birds in the yard. She and Bruce planted a vegetable garden every summer. In her later years she liked doing seek & find puzzles and watching videos. She was also a natural 'people-watcher'. She will always be known to her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Daisy was predeceased by her husband, Bruce and daughter, Elin Lorelle. She is survived by her children, Elaine Caravelli, Andrew Stocking, Danielle Shula, Melody Runstadler, and Tim Stocking; her grandchildren, Jay Kliewer, Taylor Caravelli, Aaron Alton, Justine Alton, Angelica Runstadler, and Crystal Runstadler; and her great-grandchildren, Jhasamin Linder and Jeremiah Kliewer. A private graveside service was held at Oakwood Memorial Park on Dec. 4th, 2015.
