Obituary of Lorraine Holt

Lorraine Holt, born at home in Soquel and lived a full and beautiful life here in Santa Cruz. Lorraine was a 1945 graduate of Santa Cruz High School and a pharmacy assistant at Melvin's Drug store on Pacific Avenue. Most of all, she was also a wonderful mom with an infectious smile and a friend to many. She had a wonderful group of friends and enjoyed swing dancing, many get-togethers and hosted epic holiday parties. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Holt Sr. and is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Lee and her husband Earl of Rio Linda, and her son, Robert Holt III and his wife Sanya Cypert of Santa Cruz. She leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on February 16th at 10:00AM at Oakwood Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road in Santa Cruz.
