Obituary of Marilyn Jean Amolsch

Marilyn Jean Amolsch, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018 surrounded by friends and family. She was 84 years old. A native of Minnesota, Marilyn lived in Santa Cruz County 51 years. Marilyn was born and raised in Minneapolis, she moved to Santa Cruz County with her four children in 1967. She retired from County Bank of Santa Cruz, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Marilyn loved cooking, crocheting, and playing the piano. When her husband Ralph was alive, you could find them boating on the delta most weekends. They also enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and roller skating. She is survived by her children: Ray Harmer (Marie) of TX., Randy Harmer (Linda) of OR., Ramona Porter of Watsonville, Nanci Amolsch of Capitola. Her Grandchildren: Ralph Amolsch Jr. of Capitola, Jennifer Harmer of NY., Sheryl Daniels (Reggie) of Redding, Scott Page of Boston, MA., Randy Amolsch (Leanne) of Antioch, Lindsey Messerli (Antony) of San Antonio, TX., Blake Harmer (Hope) of Austin, TX. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and her sister Marie Holzer (Dennis) of MN. Her parents: Edwin and Flora Peterson; Her brothers: Burton and Quentin Peterson; And her loving husband of 31 years, Ralph Amolsch preceded her in death. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Oakwood Memorial Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Rd., Santa Cruz. Funeral Services will be on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 1:00PM with graveside to follow. Casket Bearers will be Ralph Amolsch Jr., Randy Amolsch, Brian Buhrow, Ray Harmer, and Scott Page.
