Dennis grew up on Camino Monde in San Jose; his home was across the street from where my family lived. I have so many fond memories of him. I was the youngest of our neighborhood kids—and one of a few girls—but he was always so kind to me, and made me feel a part of the group. We would play baseball in the street, and get together every year for 4th of July fireworks. My fondest memory of Dennis is just how much he loved music. I remember quite vividly when he introduced me to Janis Joplin—he was blasting “me and Bobby McGee” on his new stereo, and kept repeating, “have you ever heard anything like her?” Dennis was a dear friend, a loving son, brother, husband, and father. His memory will live on through all who were blessed to have known him. My love and prayers to Judy and and his family.

Q: What will you never forget about Dennis?
A: We will never forget his skill and love of being the perfect host! He was an incredible chef, connoisseur of good food, great restaurants, and delicious cocktails. He was the consummate trip planner, never leaving anything to chance. We loved to travel with him and Judy. Most of all, we will never forget the way he loved our dear Judy. He will be sorely missed.

Deepest condolences to the entire family. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man, willing to help others. Lana and I often talk about our visit to San Jose from Pennsylvania and his hospitality. Love to all. Jeanette
