Randy Gidlund of Santa Cruz, CA, passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 71 from his battle with cancer.Randy leaves behind his son Shane (Suzan) Gidlund. Grandchildren Grant Gidlund and Aidan Harrison. Brother Bruce (Jan) Gidlund & Sister Ann (Saeed) Sadrian. Ex-wife's Cindy Silver and Lisa Kunz. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.Randy Gidlund was born the middle child to Gustav and Ruth Gidlund in Sacramento, California on March 6th 1952. He graduated from C.K. McClatchy High-school in 1970. He went on to study at Consumnes River College where he earned a 2 year degree. Randy moved on to be owner and operator of Capital Enterprises in Sacramento California where he finalized his patent for specialized doors.Randy enjoyed woodworking, playing Bocce Ball, camping, fishing and archery. He always looked forward to his annual camping trip with his grandkids every summer, where they made lots of memories fishing and hiking.Randy will forever be missed by his family and friends.
