DAD
In your eyes I've seen God's love.
In your words I've heard His wisdom.
Through your life I've found His grace.
Thank you dad for being a great father that lead us through your example.
I'm filled with many cherished memories. Camping trips in Big Basin. Roasting hotdogs on the beach. Going to see museums or visiting all the missions along California. You and momma exposed us to so many things, especially the love of God and the joy of serving others.
I'm going to miss the beautiful way you played the guitar. I will miss your playful humor. I will miss your singing, your prayers and your excitement and joy when you shared God's Word.
When momma died, I wondered what was going to happen to our family. We were all so young then. But you stepped up dad and was there for each of us over the years. And you were there for your grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren! We have been blessed!!
Your little saying will live on...

Dad didn't quite know what to think of me when he was first getting to know me. I was 15 when I first met his youngest son, Tino, and about 16, when Tino and I really became an item. We'd go out, often with our gang of friends, and one friend Ron, was with us when we were at their house on Millie Ct, yet, still on Mar Vista Drive. Dad had just come home from ministering to jail Inmates, or was it a Gideon meeting? Anyway, I was a competitive, spontaneous thing back then, and Dad walked through the door to see poor Ron up on my shoulders sideways and I was shamelessly going around in circles with him. Dad saw that and his jaw dropped wide open! I began then to discover what a wonderfully amazing child of God and friend of Jesus he had already been for at least 14 years then, and stayed the course through and through for a total of 60 years, until he went home to The LORD'S Resting Place. We will always love you, Dad Tell Mom and Stevie and all of our family there that we'llbe seeing you someday again! Love, Tino and Jaime Arispe.

My father was a man who loved God and lived a good life. After leaving Aptos,CA in 1997, he traveled in his RV for awhile. In 2002 he came to live with me, my husband and 4 children. It was a blessing for our family. He loved us all. What I remember most was he prayed on his knees, saying as long as God gave him strength he would be on his knees. He loved to sing and praise God. He is now with Mom and at peace - Vicki Gonzalez
