Obituary of Gina Paulette Arrabito

Gina Paulette Arrabito was born on May 5, 1970 to Paul and Carla Arrabito and passed away unexpectedly at her home in Santa Cruz on September 9, 2013. She was 43. Gina graduated with her BSN from Chico State University and was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. She wasn't just a nurse, she was a healer. Initially Gina was a labor and delivery nurse and in later years worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. She loved working with her "babies." She was the sort of woman that would go out of her way to help someone she loved. She was generous, kind, funny, smart and always wanted the best for those she loved. Over and above everything else, she loved her family, more than anything else. She grew up with cousins close by and her sense of family was strong. Gina loved animals, especially her kitties. Gina had a beautiful smile and the most beautiful long dark hair anyone has ever seen. Gina is survived by her partner, Leslie Cook; her mother, Carla Arrabito; her brother, Erico Arrabito; her grandmother, Lena; her aunts, Annette, Angela, Diana, Pat and Cathy; her uncle, Michael; and many cousins. At this time no services are being held. "Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of those who love her that will never heal over. Until we meet again honey...." ~Leslie
