Mary Louise Reich, 92 years old, of Scotts Valley, California, passed gently into the arms of her heavenly Father on January 19, 2014.
Known to many Christians in Scotts Valley, San Jose, and Los Angeles area churches as "Pastor Jerry's beloved wife", she was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 8, 1921. She married Jerald Emory Reich in 1940 and they remained constant companions for 73 years.
Preferred to be called "Louise", she graduated from Reitz High School in Evansville in 1939. She and her husband attended Milwaukee Bible Institute until 1943. She worked in Evansville Hospital during WWII and Jellwell Desert Company in southern California until 1956. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (GG) who was willing to help everyone. She had a tremendous sense of humour and is deeply loved by all. Louise helped and supported her husband throughout his career and their ministry in area churches.
She is survived by her three children: Jerald R. Reich (Nancy), Margaret Fisher and Rebecca Harford (Tim), 6 grandchildren: Danielle, David, Bryan, Scott, Jeremy and Kellie, and 11 great-grandchildren: Anaise, Olyvea, Tate, Emory, Andria, Corbin, Marcus, Norah, Evan, Kaylee and Bryson.
