Obituary of Barry Nolan

Cherished and loving father, brother, uncle and friend, Barry passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Nolan (Les); brother, Bert Nolan (Mary); niece, Renee Nolan; nephew, Brent Nolan and Maggie (black lab). He held two special women close to his heart, Ann, the mother of his daughter and Karen. He is fondly remembered by many friends, young and old, whose lives were touched by his feistiness, kindness, intelligence and generosity of spirit. Barry was born in San Jose, CA in 1943 and moved to the Santa Cruz area in 1970. He spoke of his daughter as the part of his life of which he was most proud. Over the years Barry enjoyed traveling with his many friends, daughter and even his two ex-wives. He worked for P G & E for over 30 years. After retirement, Barry volunteered much of his time to the Moose Lodge in Scotts Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, your favorite charity, or plant a tree in his memory. A celebration of Barry's life will be announced at a later date.
