Obituary of Sandra Marie Pfister

Sandra Marie Pfister, 57, passed away at her La Selva Beach home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Fredric Pfister, her three sons, Jamison, Michael and Brian, her parents, James and Marie Peterson of Incline Village,NV, brother Robert Peterson and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Iowa, she came to Saratoga at age 2. She later moved to Santa Cruz and graduated in 1974 from Aptos High where she met and later married her husband Fredric in 1975. For years she was an integral part of the family business. She was also great help to many with lifestyle changes at Weightwatchers. Sandra enjoyed caring for animals, walking on the beach, cooking, gardening and most of all, caring for her family. Funeral Services will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church,223 Church St, on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. The Trisigion Service will be at the Church on Wednesday Evening at 7:30 P.M. Graveside committal will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. Contributions preferred to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church or to your favorite charity helping animals.
