Dear Craig and all of Diane's loved ones and family,
I loved Diane's championing spirit and her community-building way of life.
If not for her support and volunteerism, I would never have had the opportunity to be
an exchange student in high school for one year in Colombia. Diane was pivotal in expanding my world and my development as a person. In more recent years, I would see her around Santa Cruz and hear about the community she continued to build. I would have loved to go to the desert with her and one of her many groups on one of her many adventures. I was very impressed with the life she created for herself - how she evolved over time. Thank you, Diane. I am sorry to miss the memorial service today. Sending much love, in deep appreciation. Love, Jill Pinney
