Obituary of Donald C. Joslin

Donald C. Joslin passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014. He was 91 years old. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he has been a resident of Santa Cruz for the past 41 years. Mr. Joslin attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on a Destroyer in both European and Pacific theatres. After the war, he received a doctorate of Chirobody degree from the Ohio College of Chirobody in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 30, he came to California and was employed as an underwriter at Lloyds of London Insurance in San Francisco. Then he entered the Postal Service, serving in their San Francisco and Soquel offices, retiring in 1982. He is survived by his brother, Alvin C. Joslin of Indianapolis, Indiana, and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park, Saturday, April 26th at Ten O'Clock in the Morning.
