Pablo Velasquez, 23, passed away in Watsonville April 19. 2014. He is survived by his mother and step-father Cindy and Josh King of Clarksville, TN, step-father Ronnie Sexton of Folsom and his sister, Ashley Sexton of Watsonville. He is preceded in death by his father Pablo Velasquez II who died just before Pablo was born.
A native of Monterey, he graduated from Aptos High School, and worked as a waiter and bartender in Santa Cruz for several years. Pablo was a free spirit and was very much loved by his family and friends. He loved playing golf and hanging out with his friends.
Funeral services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean St, Santa Cruz on Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation for family and friends will be at the chapel from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Pablo will be laid to rest next to his father, Pablo, in Monterey, CA next week. Flowers are welcome or donations to your favorite charity.
