Obituary of Thelma D. Coit

Thelma passed away peacefully at Pacific Coast Manor in Capitola where she was a resident since August 2009. Born Thelma Doris Rabb in Fresno, she married Roger Coit in 1942. Roger passed away January 29, 2007. She lived in Aptos since 1974 and also owned a home in Paradise Park. She was an Eastern Star member for over 40 years. Thelma was very social in her community and was best known for her cookies and supportive kindness. She also received "Best Nana" respect from her grandchildren and was very influencial in her nieces and nephews' lives. She is survived by her three children, R. Kenneth Coit of Danville, Jacquelyn Lorell of Santa Cruz and Cheryl Pozzi of Salinas, her sister, Marcella Miller of San Joaquin, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was buried next to her husband Roger at Santa Cruz Memorial. A private family service will be held on January 5, 2012. Donations preferrd to your favorite charity.
