I also met Noreen at the Mid-County Senior Center several years ago. We worked on fundraisers, especially a 'Roaring Twenties night'. She always had so many great ideas.
And her talent in writing the articles each month for the small local paper, highlighting a special group/person.
And she started the '90's Club at the Center. I had the privilege of being a receptionist on her Friday meeting day, so saw how she created the group and so much energy to create such a fun day for many. Always so full of energy and spirit.
I live near La Posada so she often invited me to join her and Kurt 'for supper' and bingo, and said I was her lucky charm as she would win at bingo on those evenings.
I will miss a very special person. And send my regards to her family, who I met at Rene's memorial. truly Donna Fernandez

I met Noreen at the senior club when I first moved to Santa Cruz. We became friends and I enjoyed her friendship very much. I visited her after she moved to La Posada
and had a dip into the spa and stayed for dinner. She was the most delightful and
intelligent person I have met recently. I am sorry for your loss - I shall miss her and thinking that I could just drop by and visit her at La Posada. Found Memories.

Dearest Noreen. I can still hear her sweet voice, her words of encouragement. Frank and I felt so lucky, 30 years ago, when she and Rene passed on to us the Soquel family home. We have cherished our time here. Rene's hand-split fence still stands and we continue to find treasures from the past down along the creek's edge. Noreen's dream/premonition that we would be blessed with a child came to pass and our son, Jordi, delighted in finding Philip's long buried toy airplanes and cars in the yard. Rene's vegetable garden lives on!
Time rolls on, but your family's love and happiness are still present here on Prescott Rd.
Visitors are always welcome to come by and watch the birds in the garden.
