I will always remember Tatiana as a fellow nature & animal lover. Several times over the years, while walking our beloved dogs, we would unexpectedly run into each other on the secret trails above Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, CA. So surprising since these trails are not well known & I would rarely see another person while hiking for hours; until I would round a corner, and suddenly there would be Tatiana with one of her Austrian Ridgeback dogs. We would stop & chat for a bit, sharing stories about our dogs or the icons she was working on at the time.
She wrote a beautiful icon of St. Christopher that is at Ss. Peter & Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Ben Lomond, CA. It was commissioned for a parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul who died too young, Christopher Reed.
Although I did not know her well, I will remember her as a quiet & contemplative person; one who seemed removed from the hustle & bustle of this world. And I will certainly always remember her as I continue to walk the secret trails in the hills above Felton, but sad in knowing that I will never be able to bump into her again, at least not in this life.
Tatiana, your memory & legacy will be eternal!

Tatiana was a wonderful friend and artist. I knew her for many years and even had dinner and went to the symphony with her while we were both in Moscow, whileI I was traveling in Russia and she was there for business. I, of course forgot my wallet and she never forgave me for that. Although I have not seen her in a few years I will miss her spirit and her intellect.
