Obituary of Wanda Joy Woodlief

Wanda Joy Tong Woodlief was born in Aptos, CA December 1, 1947 to Henry and Lucile Tong. She died peacefully in Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA April 13, 2012. She was 64 years old and was looking forward to going to heaven. She was not afraid to pass. She is survived by her son Don Woodlief Jr.of San Jose, CA, her daughter Alesha Woodlief of Raleigh, NC, and her sisters Linda, Paula, Shirley, Joan and her brother Calvin Tong. She had 2 grandchildren named Terry and Michael. Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother and valued her family very much. She spent a lot of her time gardening, with her ducks and watching Lucile Ball shows with other favorite movies and shows. Wanda spent a lot of time in Los Gatos, CA, San Jose, CA, Santa Cruz, CA and Corcoran, CA. Wanda spent her last remaining days with her son Don Jr. and her partner Bob Baber in San Jose, CA. They all spent quality time with Wanda and valued her family dearly. She stayed longer in this world for her family and made it known. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery 3301 Paul Sweet Road in Santa Cruz, CA.
