Private Services will be held for Santa Cruz native Jeanette Susan Herum. Jeanette was born on November 30, 1983 to Andrew and Leslie Herum. She attended Natural Bridges Elementary, Mission Hill Jr. High, Santa Cruz High and Cabrillo College. With her family she attended Messiah Lutheran Church. Jeanette loved the ocean, animals and camping.
Jeanette is survived by her brother Severin Herum, her son Brody Goering and his father Branden; uncle and aunt Stan & Jane Herum, aunt and uncle Sue and Joe Vitales. She is also survived by cousins Andrew & Jason Herum, Steven & Stephanie Vitales and their families and her godparents Ricard and Arcelia Aguilera. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Leslie Herum.
