Obituary of Andrew S. Berweger

Please share a memory of Andrew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Andrew S. Berweger, 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2017. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, he loved his family camping trips to Blue Lakes, where he could bike and explore with his brother, Mark. Hawaii vacations were also full of fun and adventure. On his last trip to Hawaii, he jumped out of an airplane with his Mom. He was a quiet and thoughtful person and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. Andrew had a special bond with his beloved German Shepherd, Niko, whom he played ball with every single day. Andrew was an excellent rider and loved dirt biking, especially on his infamous hundred dollar hill and four wheeling in his "cow" truck. For several years he was a plumber with Absolute Plumbing. He was also a master mechanic who could fix anything. Andrew leaves behind his parents, Steven and Robin Berweger, his brother, Mark, (Lake Oswego, OR) and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Berweger (Morgan Hill) and Donna and Alan Lennox (Sutter Creek). He also leaves numerous cousins and aunts and uncles. He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal grandparents, George and Marie Petrell and aunts Ginny Lowe, Julie Pena and Susan Lobach. Andrew will be greatly missed by his lifelong friends and family. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 126 High Street at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, followed by a Private Celebration of Life.
