Obituary of Albert August Parmisano

Albert (Al) August Parmisano, age 87, passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 13, 2017 in his home in Capitola, California. A second generation San Franciscan, Al grew up in a large, close Italian family. After graduating high school from Sacred Heart in San Francisco, Al served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his time in the service, he and his wife Katherine (Perusina) started their family and had four children who they raised in Milbrae, California. In addition to being a devoted family man, Al enjoyed a long career with AT&T, was an avid hunter, and loved his his dogs. After being predeceased by Katherine, Al married Laura (Peak) and together they spent retirement traveling, visiting their grandchildren, and enjoying their home in Capitola. Al is survived by his wife Laura and his stepchildren Zack and Marissa, children Michael, Debora, John, and Mark, grandchildren Jaclyn, Jennifer, Anthony, Lisa, Alexa, Katherine, Karina and Sophia, great grandchildren Brayden and Stella, and sister Gerry.
