Obituary of Antonia Ann Stilleke

Please share a memory of Antonia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Antonia Ann Stillleke, 88, passed peacefully after lengthy illness on September 21, 2017 in Capitola, CA. She is honored and loved in death as she was in life. Her love of family lives on in the hearts of those she knew and loved. A native of Sacramento, CA. Ann, to those who knew her best, moved to Soquel from San Jose, CA in February of 1968 where she and her husband, Jim, owned and operated Dave's Motor Clinic, a small engine repair shop, for 22 years. She dedicated herself to her family and to helping others to whom she was close to in her life. In her spare time she enjoyed the solitude of tending to her backyard garden at home. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim; her son, Rich; and her daughter, Joan. She is also survived by her sisters, Josephine Velaga, Millicent (Millie) Velaga, and Elizabeth (Babe) Velaga all of Sacramento. She was preceded in death by her parents Zlata and Anton Velaga; her brothers, Joe Velaga and John Velaga; and her sister, Mary Goeke (Velaga). We want to thank Pacific Coast Manor (nurses Michelle and Michael) and Hospice (nurse Lacey) for their generous care and support, along with their respective staffs who worked patiently with her to find the best and most comfortable health and easy transition. A Funeral service will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park, 3301 Paul Sweet Road at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
