Obituary of Betty Lou Suerdieck

Betty Suerdieck passed away peacefully on Saturday at her home in Aptos, CA. Born in West Milton, Ohio Betty graduated from Milton Union School and attended Ohio Westly University in Delaware Ohio. Betty enjoyed reading, playing bridge, jewelry shopping and had a deep love for her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas Suerdieck. Betty is also survived by four sons: Chris Suerdieck and wife Carolyn of Mattoon, IL; Jeff Suerdieck and wife Beth of Indian Trail, NC; Scott Suerdieck and wife Alma of Stockton, CA and Trent Suerdieck of San Jose, CA. She is also survived by a daughter: Leslie Lange and husband Greg of Jackson, CO and a sister, Linda Krieger of West Milton, Ohio. Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Lester & Georgia Vore, a child, Justin Suerdieck and a sister, Faye Wertz. A Memorial Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Community 7600 Soquel Drive in Aptos, CA on Monday May 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow at Mid-county Senior Center 829 Bay Ave in Capitola, CA. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Santa Cruz 940 Disc Drive in Scotts Valley, CA.
