Obituary of Margaret Ann Haney

Margaret Ann Haney passed on to a better life on November 20, 2017. Margaret was born to Seth and Lilly Agnes Huntsman on July 2, 1923 in Hollister, California. On New Years Eve 1942, she married Dallas M. Haney, and they were married for 52 years until his passing in August 1995. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in laws, Susan E. Bosso (Bob) of Santa Cruz and Kathleen G. Keen (James) of Hollister and six grandchildren, David R. Bosso (Jennifer) of Goleta, CA, Tracey A. Neilsen (Stig) of Scotts Valley, Brian E. Bosso (Alice) of Santa Clara, Kelly A. Keen and Jonelle S. Keen both of Hollister, and Denise Dye of College Station, Texas, her sister Irene Maggini of Hollister, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother Lloyd Huntsman and her parents. Margaret worked for Pacific Telephone Company as a cashier for over 30 years and later at the Bosso Williams, Law Office. Wherever she worked she made a multitude of friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Soquel where she was very active in various church activities until recent years. The family wishes to extend its thanks to Rosie, her family and staff at Alexandra Victoria Residential Care home for the wonderful loving care that they provided Margaret for almost two years, and her doctor Mercedes Grace Laurencin and her staff. A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held on December 11, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Cruz Memorial ~ Oakwood Chapel at Oakwood Memorial Park following a private interment in the Santa Cruz Memorial Park.
