First cousin and 7 years older than Peter, I was so surprised and sad to get
Martha's phone call with the the news about Peter. I recently remember running into
Peter in Santa Cruz several years ago on the main street there. Actually he recognized me first! Then in either 2007 or 2008 he was at the Vallejo home in Sonoma and sat my
son and daughter down on the front porch to tape them sharing memories about their
grandfather, Bernard, my father.. Unfortunately, I never saw that tape.
Peter was a beautiful child and I have a great photo of us at the San Francisco Bank
Choir.
