Obituary of David Franklin Voralik

Funeral services for David Voralik will be held this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. David passed away at his home suddenly on Sept. 11th. He was 72 years old. David was born in Glendale, CA on April 20, 1940. After graduating from Glendale High School, he attended Glendale City College and California State University Los Angeles where he majored in Geology. During this same time David served his country in the United States Air Force reserves. He was a resident of Santa Cruz County for 38 years. David was an entrepreneur and businessman his entire adult life. He owned a Home Medical Supply Store and internet business. David was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed all sports as well as gardening, antiques & Americana Collectibles and camping. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of San Lorenzo Valley, serving as a Deacon. David will be missed greatly by his family and many friends. David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen Voralik, four sons; John (Julie) Voralik, Matthew (Maria) Voralik, Andrew Voralik, Mark Voralik, daughter Tara (Rick) Archibald; brothers, Franklin (Charlotte) Voralik and Edward Voralik. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Esther Archibald and Elijah Voralik and nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his son, Paul Bryan Voralik in 1998. Funeral Services for Mr. Voralik will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of San Lorenzo Valley, 7301 Highway 9, Felton. A reception will follow at the church after the services.
