Obituary of Linda Lee White

Linda passed away on Sept 28th after a year-long battle with leukemia. She was born on Aug 15, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois - the daughter of Laura Lee and carl S. White (both deceased).She is survived by her sister Carla and brother-in-law Alan Campbell of Centralia, Illinois; her brother Mark and wife, Antoinette White of Charleston, West Virginia; a niece Rachel White of Pittsburgh, PA; and a nephew Andrew White of Charleston, WV. Her brother Randy White predeceased her. She is also survived by her stepson David and his wife Heather McCrabb and grandson Eddie McCrabb of Dayton, Ohio.Linda loved to travel and see the world. Upon granduation from Moline High School in Moline, IL Linda moved to Chicago where she worked for a furrier for many years. She also spent time living in San Francisco, New York, Germany, Ohio and San Diego before settling in Aptos, the beach area she so loved. She was employed as a medical receptionist for the last several years at a local cardiologist's office in Freedom, CA. She loved to dance and was an avid member of jazzercise. Her vivacious personality and her ability to reach out and meet new people made her many friends locally and all over the the United States, who will miss her beautiful smile and her enthusiasm for life. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 11:00 am on October 20, 2012 at Twin Lakes Church.
