I knew Ruth not only as the most energetic and happy woman at church, but also on a more personal level. Clarence was an estimator for my dad, K.J.McGranahan, for many years. During that time, Ruth and Clarence invited my family to their home in Scotts Valley at Christmas-time. What a delight! I also had a nice visit with Ruth when she was rehabilitating in Watsonville. We spent over an hour visiting, and I really felt that she knew who I was. She will be fondly remembered by my brother and me.
