I have known Nick for 40 years, I was introduced to the entire family when I became friends with Rosie. Once you stepped foot into the Mazzone house you automatically became family. Bonnie and Nick were wonderful, kind and generous people. I had many dinners there and one night in particular Nick was very excited for me to taste the meal he helped Bonnie prepare. I remember so vividly Nick keeping a close eye on me as I took my first bite. It was then that Rosie told me I had just eaten Deer meat (Nick was an avid hunter). The look on my face must have become very strange because Nick laughed so hard he almost fell off his chair. It is so sad to lose wonderful people but from reading other tributes it sounds like Nick was anxious to see Bonnie and Terry again. I hope they are all three looking down on Rosie and her family and watching over them during this difficult time.
Much Love,
Ancha

Dear Roseanne and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was truly a kind and generous man. He always was eager to share his wonderful vegetables from his garden and always willing to help his friends. I know he was very proud of his family....... Sadly, Daria Radicchi Stark & family

I met Nick when i came to work at Sunshine Villa where he was residing. I would go in to see him every other day and he would tell me about his family and his life many years ago. He told me he wished to be with his wife and daughter and missed them so much.
I remember I gave him a touch lamp by his bed, he was so excited that he didn't have to reach across to turn it on, he could touch any part of it and on it would go, he thought that was the best thing in the world. Each day as I passed his room and look in through his open doorway he would be waiting to see who was there, I would throw him a kiss and he would throw one back and smile. I will always have a special place in my heart for Nick. I know he is at peace now and whole again and with his wife and daughter he so missed. Antonia

Dear Mazzone Family,
I got to know Nick late in life at my Park in the Carbonera Creek area. He would drive his little blue trailer in the woods, back up to trees I pulled out from storms or cutting to make improvements. He seemed to enjoy building up his wood pile on Santa Cruz Ave. He always did a good job cleaning up after wards. He also donated a lot time installing electrical outlets in the park to provide power for future activities.
I really appreciated his friendship. The visits at Sunshine Villa where good for both of us. God Bless Him
