Leah Steele, 96, passed away in Sunnyvale on Thursday. She is survived by her daughter, Sonja (Louis) Melchor of Milpitas, her grandson, Paul, great granddaughter, Amanda, and her great great granddaughter, Charlize. She is preceded in death by her husband, Col. Raymond G. Steele, who died in 1954.
Cryptside services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial, 1927 Ocean Street on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.
