Dear Velma:
A sweet caring no nonsense mom to all the Walton kids and their friends.
The Walton house was always inviting to the neighborhood kids, but you had better be on your best behavior!
Dick will remember Fetty, Walker, Scofield , Olive boys and a few others who hung out and walked to Bay View Mission Hill and S.C.High.
We were a rowdy bunch, but never at the Walton house.
Mr. and Mrs. taught us all respect and good manners. A number of years (60 at least) later I got to go on a ships cruise with Velma, Dickie and Velma's sister from the South.
Dickie, I will always remember that vacation. The ladies were so delightful, funny and warm with just enough naughtiness.
I will miss you dear lady as will the Santa Cruz Follies.
