Coastal Commission Staff 1990
Through the many years we worked together at the California Coastal Commission I came to think of Diana as the hub in the midst of a dynamic group of environmentallsts. She was calm and tolerant through deadline Commission packets, with frustrated applicants, and with harried staff. Diana put people at ease with a smile and easy manner, not a milquetoast but a genuinely decent and kind person. She was a good friend. I will sit on her Memorial Bench and remember her gentle spirit.
Dear Chuck and Angela, Nick and little Mary, and to Charlotte and Kevin I am so sorry you have lost this wonderful human being. I hold her tenderly in my memory and hope that you will find some peace and comfort in yours.
