What a nice guy! In fact, Merrill and Jewel were two wonderful people, and the parents of an awesome family. Our moms were “sports game buddies” and you could hear them talking and laughing! Jewel had a great laugh. Merrill was so “cool and calm”. Remember him best from the ballgames and pizza parlor. My condolences to all the kids, especially my Buddy, teammate, classmate Mike, who’s one of the best people ever. God bless you all, and celebrate your Dad! Jim Bunner

We are saddened to learn of Merrill Malvini's recent passing. For so many years, Merrill was such an important presence in the neighborhood we have shared with the Malvini family. When we were young, our daughter always felt welcome in the Malvini home. As the children grew up and moved from the neighborhood, Bob and I looked forward to seeing and talking with Merrill as we walked our dogs. Merrill would always say that he was not fond of dogs. Yet, he most often had treats for the dogs in his pocket. We will miss talking with him, seeing him out on his daily walk, and knowing that he was watching out for the neighbors. His passing is a loss for the neighborhood. Farley Dr. is not the same without Merrill. We will miss him. Robert, Beverly and Heather Harris
