Sharif was one of the most caring, interesting, well-spoken, and engaging people I have had the honor of knowing, let alone being fortunate enough to call my cousin.
I have a lifetime of special memories of Sharif which exemplify the love he shared with others. I’ll never forget his laugh nor his beautiful spirit, that spirit which lives on in his children and grandchildren. Whenever I hear reggae music or I am near the California coast I think of Sharif and smile.
My heart goes out to all of his family and I share in the grief of his loss. May he Rest In Peace.
