Graveside services will be Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Memorial Park,
3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, California.
Doris was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on July 26, 1942 to Frank and Jesse Mae Jones. Later her family moved to Santa Cruz, California where she attended Santa Cruz High School. Doris spent her adult life in the Santa Cruz area.
Doris loved her plants, gardening and long car rides along the beautiful California coastline. She will be remembered for her funny wit and sarcastic sense of humor.
Doris is survived by her loving family: son, Clyde Persley; daughters Teresa and Delcyne Persley, grandson Chistopher Coupelin, Granddaughters, Shiavon Irvin, Alesha Moffett, Michaela Moffett, grandson Michael Moffett, granddaughter, Alexandria Persley and 10 great grandchildren.
