Obituary of Barry Seidler

Barry was born in the Bronx, New York and moved with his parents at age 4 to Torrance, CA. His family moved to Palos Verde, CA where he attended Rolling Hills High School. He attended Long Beach State where he met his wife, Margaret Bostrom. After the birth of their son, Reid, they moved to Sonoma County where Barry completed alternative service for his conscientious objector status. They lived in Nevada County for 10 years where he built a home for his family. They moved to Santa Cruz County where they have resided for the past 39 years. Barry was a general contractor, and, after suffering an injury he worked as a salesperson at Sweets in the Nude, where he also helped people design custom wood furniture. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, son Reid, grandson Leo, brother Jonathan, 2 cousins, Robert Blau and Jay Blau in New Jersey and Florida respectively, their children, and 3 nieces by his brother Jonathan. Barry passed away peacefully at Dominican Hospital with his wife, son and grandson with him at the end.
