It was Jan 7, 1973, Sunday morning at Cabrillo A/G Church John Carter 1st met All & Gen Cannizzaro. That was the start of a long and very dear friendship. They quickly became Mom & Pop to me, for I felt like they had adopted me into their family. Their kids also became very close friends as well and to this day are still some of my closest and dearest of friends. Mom & Pop both were like my own parents. I could talk to them about anything and I remember talking with Mom at length during some hard times in my life. She called me Son, and even though I knew I wasn't, she always made me feel like she was my Mom. The love and kindness that Mom & Pop displayed at all times was truly from the Lord. I praise God for how He orchestrated everything in bringing the Cannizzaro family into my life. Mom & Pop both will forever be written in my heart and the memories will be cherished forever.
