Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 4th for Charlotte Carroll who passed away on April 3rd, she was 81 years old. Charlotte passed away at her Santa Cruz home after a lengthy illness
Charlotte was born in Santa Cruz; she attended Mission Hill, then an elementary school and Santa Cruz High School. Charlotte graduated from San Jose State in 1952, later receiving her Master's Degree from San Francisco State University. She was a teacher in the Santa Cruz City School system for 38 years. Charlotte taught at Garfield Park elementary, Bay View elementary and West Lake elementary. She retired from teaching in 1986.
Charlotte enjoyed teaching, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a long time member of National T.T.T. Society, a nationwide women's organization dedicated to providing educational and camping opportunities for girls.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 61 years Frank Carroll Jr., sons Gregory Carroll (Sandy) of Paso Robles and Brian Carroll (Fritzi) of Santa Cruz and Grandchildren Peter Carroll, Greta Carroll, Angela Nerenberg and Andrea Carroll. She is also survived by her sister Rita Rifesi and brothers; Allen G. Wilson Jr. and Donald Wilson.
A memorial service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 11:00 a.m. at High Street Community Church, 850 High St., Santa Cruz. In lieu of flowers donations to National T.T.T. Society- California M-Santa Cruz C/O Lynn Eaton, 219 Routier St., Santa Cruz, CA 95060
