Lois and Darrell were like foster parents to me. Thanks to them they were able to get through the hardest part of my teenage years. That was the first taste of a family life that I had. Thanks to Darrell who introduced me to the fire department, I was able to make a career from his tutelage. Lois was like a second mother to me in those two years that I spent with them . She had her hands full trying to raise two teenage boys and a son with special needs and required most of her time. I will never forget the short time I spent with her and her family. To Bob and the rest of the family, Connie and I want to give our sincere condolences.
