To all the family and those that may remember me, my thoughts are with you. I remember Tommie from when we lived next door on Windham Street. A long time ago but it seems like only yesterday. Not long ago I spoke with Doris at the Tampico when we were there for dinner, and told her who I was and how my brother and I would 'baby sit' she and her brother Sam when Tommie and her husband would go out. My mother worked at the Artistic Beauty Salon downtown in the old St. George building and I believe did Tommy's hair a few times. I remember Tommy took a trip to Mexico one time and brought back a purse for my mother, and she used that purse every day. It was black leather, and hand tooled and was her favorite.
